On the ground floor, you’ll find a large kitchen/dining area, fully stocked with everything you could need for your stay. The kitchen includes a large fridge/freezer, washing machine, electric cooker, microwave, and air fryer, along with all the essential cookware and utensils to prepare a home-cooked meal. There is also a bathroom with a shower on this floor, adding convenience for guests.
The first floor features a stylish lounge area designed for comfort and relaxation. The lounge offers ample seating and a welcoming open fire, with a basket of logs, kindling, and firelighting items provided to help create a cosy atmosphere. This floor also hosts a large bathroom with a bath and a double bedroom, making it perfect for guests who prefer to have one bedroom on the same level as the lounge.
On the second floor, you will find the master bedroom featuring a zip’n’link bed — by default set up as a Super-King bed — and a second bedroom hosting two singles, which can also be combined to form a Super-King if preferred. Both bedrooms offer flexible sleeping arrangements thanks to their zip’n’link beds, ensuring your stay is comfortable and adaptable to your needs.
At the entrance of the property, there is a garden area, perfect for families or guests visiting with four-legged friends. Please note that this is a shared garden with neighbouring properties, so children and pets must be supervised at all times and the area must be kept in good order.

The Old Library is located next to the A9 making it the ideal place for someone to stay if using Public Transport upon arrival or departure. The property is also very well lit at night due to the surrounding street lights.
Entry to The Old Library is through the garden at the front of the property, where guests can enjoy the outdoor space. The garden is shared with neighbouring properties, making it ideal for families or guests with pets, but please note that children and pets must be supervised at all times and the area kept in good order.
The property does not have allocated parking spaces, but there is free parking available in the surrounding carparks. Please note that parking is limited and shared with the public, so availability cannot be guaranteed, though there is usually no issue finding a space.

When travelling to The Old Library, we highly recommend researching your public transport routes or ensuring that you have access to a car.
Unfortunately, Brora does not have access to apps such as Lyft or Uber, and our only modes of public transport are Bus (Stagecoach), Train (Scotrail), and the occasional private hire Taxi company.
